So finally I am here sketching bylanes in my life and the little world that travels with and around me. I have created this new blog to pen down my afternoon musings, to pass all kinds of character judgements here (including mine), to list down my wishes and fantasies for journeys, people, places and some good-for-soul yet greedy stuff like dark chocolate icecream, walk-walk-walk, men with rugged looks and much more.
The link of the blog had to be 'walkbackhome'. I am always walking back home in my mind, through conversations, books or songs or cinema that talk about Kolkata or narrate similar emotions that my parents or I experience. Interestingly, I travel back home, even while I am at home, in that 600 sq ft apartment crammed with furnitures leaving narrow spaces for moving room-to-room. 'Ami bari jete chai' unknowingly became one of my most-uttered phrases last year. Thankfully I do not utter it in the same frequency anymore. When I'm mad at my parents, or disturbed by the whole situation, or extremely pained at an incident or certain words, my idea is to travel back home. Yet I donot live at home nor in Kol and I'm unceasingly looking for opportunities to travel places. Nonetheless and hopefully, this blog will take me home!
